Not just a place to play. A place to compete.

Competition is built directly into THE HIVE. You do not need an outside bracket site or another app just to organize an event. If you see a tournament you want to play in, click Join Tournament and you are in.

When event night arrives, THE HIVE automatically builds the bracket from everyone who signed up. Players and spectators can follow the tournament as it progresses and see who is advancing.

On event night, everyone can pack into the KOTH event room for live commentary and watch the streams of every match being played inside THE HIVE, all from one event room. The bracket, the players, the matches, and the community are all part of the same experience.

King of the Hive

Earn your place. Take the crown.

King of the Hive, or KOTH, gives that competition a larger monthly goal.

Weeks one to three

THE HIVE runs a tournament each week. The winner of each one earns a place in the KOTH pool.

The field is set

By the end of week three the field is locked. Only the players who earned their place move on. There is no skipping ahead. You earn your place by winning.

Week four

The final KOTH event. The community follows the live bracket, watches the progression, sees who is still standing, and watches match streams as it moves toward the final.

Get crowned

The winner of week four is crowned that month's KOTH champion. They receive the trophy, their profile carries the achievement, and their accolades become part of their permanent record.

Win again and that history continues to grow. For larger events, the stakes can go even further with prizes added to the competition. KOTH is not just about winning one match. It is about earning your way through the month, reaching the final, and taking the crown in front of the community.

Clans and Guilds

Your Clan. Your Rules. Your Home.

Bring an established crew or start something new. A Clan or Guild Charter gives your group its own Hub, forums, events, management tools and a tag displayed beside members' names throughout THE HIVE. It's a place your group can actually call its own.

Start With a Charter

Pick your name, tag, icon, color and banner, then tell people what your clan is about. Send the Charter to prospective founders. Once five members have signed, your clan is formed.

A Hub for Your Members

Keep the clan's news, events, photos, videos, guides, discussions and member information together, with a calendar for what's coming up.

Get Everyone Together

Create events for members only or open them to the public. Members receive a page when a new event is posted and can RSVP.

Real Clan Forums

Set up as many as five forums. Keep some for members and open others to the wider community.

You Make the Rules

Choose open recruitment, applications or invitation only. Set entry levels and member limits, appoint officers and assign permissions.

Build a Clan Fund

Give members a way to contribute money or HIVE Coins to the group's shared fund.

Wear Your Tag

Your clan tag shows up next to your name in chats, member lists, profiles, forums and Hubs. Other users can click it to learn about your clan.

Clans or Guilds

Call your group a clan or a guild. The features are the same; the name is up to you.

Your space

Yours, and it stays yours.

Your lobby is your space, your rooms are your space, and your community belongs to the people who built it. Nothing decides who you should talk to, nothing quietly rearranges the people around you.
